Brittni grew up in West Tennessee and graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She is a Registered Nurse with a background in ICU nursing. Brittni was first exposed to the sexual exploitation industry in Bangkok, Thailand while on The World Race, an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries around the world. From that point on, she could not unsee the sights and sounds of that prayer walk through the Red Light District. Later that year, she worked with a safe home in Swaziland, walking with trafficking survivors through the process of healing and restoration.
When Brittni returned to the United States, she was offered an opportunity to join the staff of Rest Stop Ministries— an organization in Tennessee that houses and rehabilitates trafficking survivors. Her staff roles included Medical Coordinator and Residential Manager over the course of three years. She met Sydney at Rest Stop and they became close friends as they navigated the path of very challenging, heartbreaking, rewarding, fulfilling, and hopeful work of walking with survivors on their path to healing.
While Brittni’s path has taken a different direction than first anticipated, she is still an active participant in the planning process of Stone Haven. She has served a full term on the board and continues to be a sounding board for Sydney from afar. Brittni resides in Huntsville, AL while furthering her education and nursing career.
